Maintenance

Planned preventative maintenance

We offer a complete one-stop Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) service for your electrical building services – and through our partners, your mechanical services as well. This will involve compliance inspections and testing, repairs and replacement of equipment and facilities as required.
Testing and inspection services include:

As part of this service we will notify you when work needs to be carried out or further testing is required; provide and complete all the necessary paperwork and certificates on time; and provide valuable management information, in real-time if wished, on the work and testing being performed.

Engineers use tablet computers on site to record test results. Results of all testing are stored on a Microsoft SharePoint© site tailored for each client.

Site layout drawings and specific product information for each installation are updated at each visit and uploaded to the clients “portal” allowing access to the latest, most up to date building information at any time.

We can offer flexible PPM contract options covering all maintenance and repair costs, tailored to your specific requirements and budget.

Emergency lighting testing and maintenance

Whether you have many buildings or just one, emergency lighting requires monthly and annual inspection to ensure that it is fully operational. We will draw up a periodic schedule for testing and maintenance that meets your needs, so you can rest assured that your emergency lighting system is always fully compliant. Cleaning and re-lamping light fittings

Whatever your lighting scheme, regular cleaning and attention is needed to ensure not only maximum energy efficiency but also compliance with statutory requirements around light levels in the workplace. Lighting systems are often overdesigned to accommodate an expected lack of cleaning. A US study* has shown that if cleaning became a regular part of lighting maintenance, lighting systems could be downsized, resulting in considerable savings. Let us help you take care of this routine but essential part of your maintenance regime.

Fire equipment maintenance

We will service and maintain a range of fire alarm systems, gas extinguishing systems, portable extinguishers, dry risers and associated systems whatever the manufacturer: a complete service available to you at a competitive rate.

All maintenance is carried out by fully trained engineers in accordance with strict procedures that include our ISO9001 quality standards and the new requirements introduced by BS5839-1:2013.

Maintenance will include scheduled weekly, quarterly and annual visits – supported by a 24 hour emergency call out service, 365 days a year if required.

Management information

We have considerable experience in the production of management information: to enable you not only to track the costs and expenses incurred but also help you demonstrate compliance too.

We will capture data in Microsoft SharePoint, develop specifically-tailored reports that can be analysed using Microsoft Excel (or compatible spreadsheet programs) and made available using Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) sites where our clients can view live, up-to-date data at any time. Increasingly, our customers will rely on their own CAFM (computer-aided facilities management) tools to report and analyse the myriad of data available to them: if wished we will work with the CAFM system of your choice.
