Alpine Works provided the full design and installation for the electrical refurbishment of existing areas of the building across multiple floors (lower basement, upper basement, ground floor, first floor, second floor) – including laboratory spaces, teaching facilities and the roof area which also included mechanical plant. We maintained all current services whilst the building remained operational.

The electrical installation consisted of general small power supplies, lighting installation including controls systems, addressable emergency lighting system, structured IT wiring, fire alarm systems, mains distribution alterations and additions, main mechanical plant supplies and control panels, alterations and additions to the ground floor MBE suite UPS systems and the installation of additional dedicated stepdown transformers for specialist equipment.
