Background
In November 2024, University College London (UCL) entered into a comprehensive contract with Alpine Works Limited for the annual maintenance and servicing of frequency inverters at the University’s CL3 Labs. This achievement reflects Alpine Works’ commitment to delivering high-quality services and fostering strong client relationships.
Objectives
This contract encompasses specialist preventative maintenance for over 330 frequency inverters, a critical component of the mechanical plant systems that support the CL3 Laboratories. These facilities are essential to UCL’s operations, requiring the highest levels of reliability and performance. The scope of the project includes:
- Conducting detailed inspections.
- Ensuring optimal functionality of all inverters to prevent downtime.
- Delivering comprehensive servicing to extend the equipment’s lifespan and maintain energy efficiency
