🤝 Connecting with the Community: Our Outreach Experience

Last Friday, some of our team members took part in a street outreach session, walking 3km from the Soup Kitchen on Tottenham Court Road to the Strand. Along the way, they distributed sandwiches, snacks, and drinks to those experiencing homelessness.

One of the most powerful insights from the day was the importance of simple acknowledgment. The guide reminded us that in the hustle and bustle of London, many homeless individuals are passed by thousands of people daily, often without so much as a glance. A small gesture like making eye contact or offering a greeting can go a long way in easing the isolation they feel.

This experience was truly eye-opening, offering us a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those living on the streets. Well done to those who took part 💜
